Benefits for Retirees at MyFordBenefits
Ford values the hard work of those who have contributed to its success and is committed to ensuring a secure financial future for its retirees. To meet their evolving needs, Ford conducts an annual review of its retirement programs, ensuring they remain beneficial and offer desirable options.
With the rising national healthcare costs impacting retiree health insurance, Ford is dedicated to maintaining fair pricing for its retirees. Starting January 1, 2020, retirees who are not yet Medicare-eligible will have access to two additional health coverage options.
The following healthcare plans will be available in 2020:
- PPO 3600 + HSA
- OPP 4000
Both health plans offer flexibility in choosing doctors, as they cover the entire Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan network. Additionally, the PPO 3600 + HSA plan includes a Health Savings Account (HSA), which can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs for medical care.
